Last year, the Hill District Pop Up was met with our most unwanted visitor: rain. That limited the size and scope of the summer’s final Pop Up, but this year the sun shined brightly. We had nearly triple the number of attendees in 2018, with many new faces showing up for their first Pop Up experience. The Allegheny County Library Association Book Mobile also made an appearance, giving children the chance to read in between art activities, dancing, eating, and, as always, bubble making.
